Diigo is a socially collaborative bookmarking site that includes digital annotation tools, such as highlight and sticky note; the annotations remain on the page irregardless of the computer or mobile technology you are using at the time. The Diigo group, E-learning for Educators, with 725 members, is where former and current students collaboratively bookmark and annotate the resources they find on the web.
This resource is an invaluable tool for any class required to do research online. Students can see what resources others' have added to the group each day through emailed updates. As long as resources are tagged appropriately, resources are easy to locate again within a Diigo group.
